Tampa, Fla. – The Tampa Yankees will host their annual “Back to School Blast” on Friday, July 26th. The event will feature a face painter, bounce house and various other kids’ games, with a variety of prizes available for kids and parents who are seeking a fun night together before school resumes. In addition to the festivities, there will be a post game fireworks display sponsored by Wells Fargo.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., followed by a Tampa Yankees game against the Port Charlotte Stone Crabs at 7:00 p.m.

The first 250 children, 14 years old and under, will receive a Tampa Yankees themed back pack with school supplies upon entry to George M. Steinbrenner Field.

Fans are encouraged to bring any school supplies, books, or non-perishable items to donate to Metropolitan Ministries. Fans that make a donation will receive a free general admission ticket to the game. Tickets start at just $4 per person. Group rates are also available. Tickets can be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field box office.
